Gift Tea
St. Valentine tea, of the Czar Nikolas II brand, is a rose flavored black tea that does contain rose petals; however, it’s undoubtedly the added natural and artificial flavors that give this tea its intense rosiness and perfumed smell. I personally like to brew it up strong and add cream and sugar.
Depending on your taste, you’ll either fall in love all over again or heave up.

My sister came across an interesting gift tea last month called Winter Book, volume II.
It comes in a tin shaped like an old leather-bound volume with a snowy Russian castle scene on the cover. Inside is a zip-lock bag containing Ceylon tea beautified with petals of safflower, marigold, and sunflower, and flavored with papaya and “Christmas holy night flavour” (which tastes like cinnamon, Sri Lanka’s other high quantity edible export).
Come next winter I shall be on the lookout for volume III.
